In spring, nature starts to wake up from its long winter sleep. Trees burst into leaf, flowers cover the ground and animals emerge from hibernation. There is so much to see and explore on this springtime wander.

The basics
- Suitability
This walk is designed for children who are comfortable with the distance.
- Meeting point
Meet at the Marsden offices (Information Room The Old Goods Yard Station Road, Huddersfield HD7 6DH). Please note the carpark now charges for stays of more than two hours.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable clothing for the changeable weather in Marsden and sturdy footwear. Bring plenty to drink and snacks. Please give a £3 donation, which goes towards restoring the moorland.
- Accessibility
Most of the walk is on paths but it is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Dogs on leads welcome. Children welcome. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so we can cover relevant safety information.
