Christmas at Wallington
Celebrate Christmas at Wallington. Visit the beautifully decorated house, enjoy festive music, get crafty and taste festive baking cooked on the Aga.
Christmas at Wallington starts in November when the house is dressed and decorated. Visit before it officially opens during the Create Christmas at Wallington weekend for a sneaky peek behind the scenes and help us to finish making the decorations.
On Friday evenings and weekends throughout December admire the beautiful decorations across the house and gardens and soak up the special Christmas atmosphere. In the house there'll be Christmas music, festive crafts and stories with Mrs Christmas. Be sure to book a slot for children to see Father Christmas; the big man himself will be here on Friday evenings and weekends in December (Telephone 01670 773606 to book).
Outside take a seat into the traditional wooden sleigh for a truly special family photo before taking a winter stroll down to the Walled Garden where the warm Edwardian conservatory is filled with traditional decorations handmade by the gardeners.
For a completely different experience, enjoy the magical atmosphere with thousands of twinkly lights and festive baking on the AGA as the house comes alive after dark on the Christmas by Twilight evenings.
Complete your visit with a warming cuppa and yummy cake next to the wood-burning stove in the café and then stock up on presents and festive treats in the Christmas shop beautifully decorated to inspire you and full of decorations, cards, calendars, festive food and gift ideas.
