October half-term fun

Pumpkin carving at the National Trust

Visit Wallington at half term for Funny Bones and Hallowe’en fun.

A visit to Wallington during October half-term will kick start your Hallow'een preparations.

  • Follow the funny bones trail through the woods and see how many skeletons you can find hiding.
  • Visit Toobelz House (the indoor playspace) and make a spooky mask to take home.
  • Create a mud face and book your place on a pumpkin carving session so you’re all ready for Hallowe’en.
  • Get stuck in clearing the falling leaves in the courtyard this autumn. Bring little ones along to have fun in the leaves with a rake and wheelbarrow, every little helps and lets us make compost for the gardens.
  • Carve your own spooky Hallowe’en lantern at our pumpkin carving sessions.
Sessions are available on Thursday 26 & Friday 27 October, 12.30, 1.30 & 2.30pm. £5 per pumpkin. Booking essential. To book please call 01670 773606. Normal admission charges apply.
