Exclusive evening tours
Why not get a group or family or friends together for an exclusive guided tour of Willington Dovecote & Stables this summer.
Dating from the 16th Century, the buildings are survivors of a manorial complex, built by John Gostwick, a man always one step ahead of the game during the time when Henry VIII was King of England.
Gostwick built himself ‘A sumptious new Manor House’ of red brick (part of which survives today as a private residence), rebuilt and extended the Church of St. Lawrence, and erected other buildings of which the Dovecote and Stables are the only survivors.
Tours are available on Friday evenings for the following dates throughout the summer:
14 & 28 July
8 & 23 September
Tours are £5 per head (minimum £30 per group booking) and includes a glass of prosecco or fruit juice & slice of cake.
