Wimpole in the Winter with glimpses of Spring

A time to see the changing seasons with sharp winter frosts and the first glimpse in the gardens of snowdrops and aconites.

Experience getting outdoors on winter walks and for the more energetic join in with our beginners running sessions or parkrun followed by a warming cup of hot chocolate in our restaurant.

Gardens

In the Pleasure Grounds, West Garden and Old Rectory Garden snowdrops and aconites are emerging through the grass.  With daffodils leaves starting to push through the yellow Spring bounty is on its way.

Stride out across the park and meader your way to the Gothic Folly or discover the woodland belts and wider farming countryside.

Home Farm

Open fully seven days a week, you can see the pigs being fed and have a go at grooming the donkeys and learn about our rare breeds and why we keep them.

Hall

Now open seven days a week, the Hall has a new exhibition in the red room featuring the 'Earl and Architect'.  The third Earl of Hardwicke and Sir John Soane first met when young men on the Grand Tour and Soane would have the Earl's patronage over a number of decades.
