Easter adventures in nature at Wray Castle

Child completing Easter trail

Winding through the Wray Castle estate with 10 different nature themed activities to complete along the way, families can shake like a squirrel in the arboretum, watch the clouds on the West Lawn and make a splash on the shingle beach. Will you skim a stone, jump with wellies or go barefoot?

Each pack is £3 and includes an activity sheet and pencil, with a Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg (or allergen free prize) at the end (while stocks last.)

When the castle is open, the trail can be purchased from the castle entrance hall (admission not required) via cash or card.

The castle will be closed on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 April. While the Easter trail will not be running on tose dates, you can still walk the grounds and visit Joey's Café as normal.

Trail running from 3 April – 18 April (apart from 11 and 12 April)

Why not leave the car behind and make a day of it by catching the Windermere Lake Cruises green cruise from Ambleside to Wray?
