Group visits to Blickling Estate

Looking to organise a special day out for a group? From exploring the iconic Jacobean mansion to wandering through the beautiful garden or going on a group bike ride, there's something for everyone at Blickling Estate.

Group admission prices

All visitors will need a ticket, but you can take advantage of our group reduced rate which applies to groups of 15 people or more. National Trust members are free. Coach drivers receive free entry and a complimentary restaurant voucher.

Good to know

  • Bookings must be confirmed in writing at least seven days in advance
  • We’re not currently able to offer pre-booked guided tours of the house or garden
  • Organisers can take advantage of a free familiarisation visit
  • National Trust members should bring their cards to scan
  • Last entry to the house is half an hour before closing
  • Payment must be settled in one single transaction on the day of your visit
  • We’re unable to accommodate any group visits on Bank Holidays.

Group cycling at Blickling Estate

The cycle hire hub has a variety of bikes for small groups of all ages and is a great opportunity for a school or team adventure in nature. With over 4,600 acres of parkland to explore at Blickling and our four-mile Multi-use trail takes in all the highlights of the wider estate. Contact us for further details. 

International visitors

Our house guide is available in multiple languages, so if you’d like any assistance with your international visit, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Educational groups

Blickling Estate is the perfect place for a self-led educational visit. If you would like to plan your visit, please contact us: blickling@nationaltrust.org.uk

Schools or education groups can benefit from an Education Group Access Pass, which gives the whole group free admission and parking at most of the places in our care for a year.

Free familiarisation visits for group leaders 

If you're planning a group visit you can request our free Travel Trade Pass and you and a friend or colleague will gain free entry to over 300 of our places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for 12 months. There’s nothing quite like seeing or experiencing somewhere for yourself to help you plan a successful visit. To receive your pass, call 0344 249 1895 or email us at traveltrade@nationaltrust.org.uk

 

Who is eligible for free entry? 

Registered tourist board guides (on production of a valid badge), coach drivers and tour leaders escorting groups of 15 or more. National Trust members also receive free entry, so it is at your discretion whether to refund the entrance fee to members if you have included it in your package – this is not refunded by the National Trust. 

Members must bring their current membership cards with them to avoid paying the full group rate. If any of your group would like to join the National Trust please direct them to our Membership page or call 0344 800 1895.
