May Half Term at Dinefwr
24 May - 1 June (10:30am - 4:30pm)
Unleash your creativity at Dinefwr this May Half Term. Stepping into Newton House you can walk in the footsteps of the historic princes of Deheubarth by crafting your own crown. Keep your eyes peeled for a hidden tent – how will it come alive in your mind – is it your castle for the day or a hidden den? Relax in the basement in the film room or channel your inner artist in the creative drawing space. Not forgetting water play and Sied Dwt in the Oak Yard, days of adventure, creativity and relaxation await you at Dinefwr this May Half Term.
Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn (Spring Promenade)
This was a spectacular way to celebrate spring at Dinefwr, a day where the community came together to promenade through Dinefwr. Leading the parade was the great egret - artist Ren Wolfe's creation and followed by a gigantic floating bird created together at a workshop in Dinefwr. The finale was a spectacular performance of Mari Ha! by Osian Meilir and friends - what a way to finish the parade. Thank you to everyone that was part of Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn this year - it was a special day.
The Oak Yard
A place for imaginations to run wild. An area designed with children in mind, and the place for families at Dinefwr.
Step in to the Oak Yard and head for Water Play (pack the waterproofs), play a musical tune, or see who can hoola hoop.
An area that will have new things to offer throughout the year. Watch this space at Easter and the Summer Holidays – there’ll be new elements introduced!

What’s to see in the Parkland?
