The Peckover team are holding a series of taster sessions for people who are interested in joining us as a volunteer.
Do you have an interest in creating an inviting and welcoming environment? Or perhaps an interest in playing a key role in sharing inspirational stories and curious facts? If this sounds like you, our Visitor Experience Officer Polly would like to invite you to join a Welcome Host or Room Guide taster session at Peckover to meet the team, experience the role and ask questions about what the role entails.
Please be aware that garden and house sessions are on set days and times as listed below, so please do make sure you book the right one.
Welcome Host Sessions: Thursday 23rd May 10:30- 12:30 Saturday 25th May 10:30- 12:30 Monday 27th May 10:30-12:30
Room Guide Sessions: Thursday 23rd May 11:30-13:30 Saturday 25th May 11:30- 13:30 Monday 27th May 11:30- 13:30

The basics
- Booking details
Call 0344 249 1895 Free admission to site. 2 spaces per session. Each individual requires a ticket.
- Meeting point
Please meet at the front of the house 10 minutes before the session is due to start. Volunteer team leaders will meet you & take you to the session location.
- What to bring and wear
The house can be a little chilly in the colder months, so layers are advised.
- Accessibility
There is good access through the front gate and into inner courtyard. There are several steps to get into the house and staircases to basement and upper floors.
