There's always lots going on at Stourhead to help you spend time together as a family. Find out what activities you can join to make the most of your next visit – and discover all the facilities available for families.

May half-term

May half-term is looking ‘super’ at Stourhead! Come along to the Stableyard between 25 May and 2 June and learn how to become a climate superhero. Children can discover ways they can protect the planet, learn about what Stourhead does to tackle climate change and enjoy plenty of outdoor games and play. On the final day of half-term fun there will be the buzz-tastic bee balancing blundershow – a new, educational family-friendly musical designed to inspire young people to engage with environmental action. You'll want to bee there!

Adventures inside Stourhead House

A brand-new children’s spotter trail is now available from the Entrance Hall of the house. Grab a spotter’s trail flip book from a member of the friendly house team as you enter and head off on an adventure through the showrooms. Using the clues, can you spot the special items around the house?

Children’s activity stations can also be found throughout the house. Perhaps you’ll plan your own grand tour around the world, take a big sniff of the smelling tins, play the Pesky Pests card game, or dress up in servants’ clothes. Whichever you choose, there’s plenty of exploration and playing to be done while learning about the history of Stourhead.
