Join us on the first Friday of each month for a free social walk led by our knowledgeable walk leaders. Each walk will be a gentle 5-mile circular hike under the skyline of Kinder Scout and Mam Tor departing and finishing at the Penny Pot Café in Edale. Social walks are a great opportunity to meet new people, discover new places, and build your confidence walking in the countryside.
Each walk will include mild ascent and descent and is not suitable for pushchairs or prams. Dogs on leads are welcome but there may be some stiles.
Please only book if you are certain you can make this event as capacity is limited.

Please meet at the Penny Pot Café by Edale railway station.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. Dogs on a lead are welcome but, be aware, there are stiles on this walk.
