An outdoor adventure is always around the next tree or hedge at Lanlay. You can climb a tree, dam a stream, hunt for bugs, go birdwatching, make a grass trumpet, fly a kite or make wild art like this mud butterfly made by school children at Lanlay.
So get outdoors and go wild with our list of things to do before you're 11¾.
Don't forget to...
- See if you can spot otters swimming and playing in the river Ely
- Check out the orchard, cared for by local action group Peterston Connect in partnership with us. If it's a hot day when you visit, please feel free to use the stream to fill one of our buckets kept on the sign and water the trees
- If you prefer some company, bring a four-legged friend for an amble round the meadows
