Get ready for the festive season with our Christmas food events. Learn to cook some tasty festive treats such as chutneys and preserves, or even have a go at decorating your our own mini Christmas cake. Homemade goodies like these make wonderful Christmas gifts too.

From cookery workshops to edible gifts - join us at one of our places to kick-start your festive fun and if you can resist, give them as home-made Christmas presents.

    Re-creating Mrs Wolfe's recipes

    Quebec House, Kent. Wednesday, Sunday 8, 15 and 22 December 2013, 1pm-4pm.

    Get a taste for the 18th century as we recreate the food which James Wolfe would have eaten.

    Come and explore our newly opened kitchen. Discover how sugar was transported and learn about the close relationship which existed between the brewer and the baker.

    Christmas Goodies

    Uppark House and Garden.  Wednesday 11 December, 10am-3pm.

    Join us for a demonstration of festive culinary skills just in time for Christmas. You'll learn how to make a ginger bread house, cake decorating and chutney making. Coffee will be served on arrival and enjoy a two-course seasonal lunch with Christmas cake as dessert. A jar of homemade chutney will be yours to take home.
