Volunteer relaxes after a hard day's work

There is probably one interest common to all of us in the South Hampshire NTV group - and that's a love of the countryside.

We come from all walks of life and our present age range is from 8 to 80+. As our name implies, our work sites are in Hampshire; we regard our homebase as Mottisfont. We also work in the New Forest, Stockbridge Down and Hambledon, to name but a few.

We hold work parties about twice a month throughout the year, usually on a Sunday - you come when you can spare the time. Most events are attended by about 12 to 16 people.

The work we're asked to do varies with the seasons. For example, much of the winter tasks involve 'scrub bashing' and bonfires. In summer months, we do more construction work and in the past have put up fences, planted hedges, and built board walks.
