Blickling Hall

The Norfolk Centre recently celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2010.

We had a garden party at Blickling Hall, 'our' local National Trust place.

Other places we have supported are Brancaster Millennium Centre, Felbrigg Hall, and Oxburgh Hall and, further afield, we have supported the Tyntesfield Appeal.

Meetings with a variety of speakers delivering illustrated talks take place on Sunday afternoons from October to May at the John Innes Centre, Norwich.

Examples are 'The Medieval Goldsmiths of Norwich' and 'The Waterways of Venice'.

Coach outings take place throughout the year leaving from Notcutts Garden Centre. Recent trips have taken us to The Houses of Parliament and Belvoir Castle.

Theatre visits, lunches and holidays are organised from time to time. Recent holidays have been based in Durham, York, and Malvern.

The annual subscription to the Norfolk Centre covers administrative costs and the distribution of a quarterly Centre Newsletter which keeps members up to date with events.
