The Liverpool Centre was founded in 1961 to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust, making membership more rewarding with social and fundraising events.
The area that we serve is bisected by the river Mersey with many members living on the Wirral, so we have meetings for members in Bebington, as well as Liverpool.
We come together for holidays, our annual Christmas dinner, and during the summer months there are our popular coach trips to National Trust places, museums, historic houses and gardens, art galleries and ‘behind the scenes’ visits.
During the winter months meetings feature illustrated lectures about historical heritage or cultural topics, wildlife, conservation issues and horticultural subjects.
