'Thrilling and unforgettable'

Liverpool is a city full of fabulous things to see and interesting places to visit, so we're very proud of the fact that users of Trip Advisor rate Mendips and 20 Forthlin Road as #2 and #3 on the list of top visitor attractions in Liverpool.

Some recent comments include:

'It's one of those places on Earth visiting which makes your heart skip a beat... And then it begins to beat faster and faster... When you see the place where John spent his childhood: his living room, kitchen, his bedroom with the bed on which he used to sit, play and compose... It's simply the feeling that cannot be described... One of the most amazing places I've been to.'

'Only on the National Trust tour can you gain access to inside this property and it was well worth it, even if you aren't a Beatles/McCartney fan. It's like stepping back in time. The guide was very knowledgeable and as if she knew the Beatles, it meant her stories were personal and factual. Fantastic.'
