Great reductions across selected lines throughout the shop. Treat yourself, pick up for a gift or sample something tasty from the locally supplied range.

Plant sales

Pick up something for your garden in the plant sales area

Seasonal plants and ready planted larger pots from a local nursery are delivered regularly. The garden team supplement this with plants propagated from the garden or any surplus produce harvest so you can take a bit of Beningbrough home.

Brand new book range in the shop plus second hand reading room in the historic library in the hall - opened to visitors for the first time.

Jam or Cream first?

Jam or cream first? That is the question.

Nothing completes a great day out like a cup of tea and an indulgent scone or cake.Especially when they are freshly baked on site and served with a smile.

Family friendly

Children's lunchtime meal boxes are on sale in the restaurant, with high chairs and a microwave also available so that our youngest visitors can tuck in!

Spot of lunch?

Tuck into a freshly baked quiche

Every Sunday bring the family for a delicious roast dinner, alternating between pork or beef. On other days there are freshly made quiches plus paninis, sandwiches and soup

  • Credit and debit cards are accepted in both the shop and restaurant
  • Serving 11.00am - 5pm when open
  • There are plenty of spaces around the gardens where you can bring a picnic on sunny days. The walled garden is a particuarly popular spot!
  • Gluten-free options and other dietary requirements can be catered for.
  • In a rush to cool down? Grab an ice-cream from the shop

Home Farm shop

The family at Home Farm have been tenant farmers here for many years and sell home grown produce in the farm shop. Look out for the Aberdeen Angus grazing in the grounds over summer.
