There's more than just some newly furnished rooms to see in our new Howard de Walden exhibtion. You can relax in the comfy armchairs by a roaring fire, listen to Holbrooke or Dylan Thomas on the wireless, sign the guest book after hunting for famous names of early 20th-centry society, and look through the family's photo albums.

Or meet Mr Gilbanks the children's tutor as he prepare for a rehearsal of the Reluctant Dragon pantomime. You can also watch Lord Howard de Walden's cine film and see the pageants, parties, house guests and artists that brought Chirk Castle to life in the 1920s and 1930s.
