Discover Chirk Castle from a different perspective

From Monday 7th September Chirk Castle will open the staircase inside one of the castle’s towers each weekday for visitors to walk the rooftop and better discover the castle’s true size and architecture.

On this guided tour around the roof visitors will have the opportunity to take in the splendid views over the Cheshire and Salop plains. A guide will also explain how the views from the top of the battlements have changed over the centuries.

Tours run on weekdays only, and are for limited numbers. There is no additional charge for the rooftop tour, however normal admission charges apply. Tickets will be available on the day, please follow the signs on site.

In the event of adverse weather, tours may be cancelled at short notice. Please call 01691 777701 to check.
