26 and 27 July
A unique opportunity to get up close and learn more about our civil war firearms. Brian Goodwin from Leeds Armoury will assess our collection and will be available to talk to visitors.
As part of the fun we'll be having some live musket firings in the courtyard during the day, and also be taking a look at a few other firearms from different periods.

30 and 31 August
We're very excited to welcome Dragon Quest back to Chirk Castle for another performance this year.
Come and meet the dragons of Wye Ten, and hear tales of their adventures.
There will be puppet shows throughout both days, and the opportunity to have a go yourself.
6 and 7 September
Enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of Chirk Castle for two evenings of outdoor cinema in the courtyard.
The films will be First World War themed, including War Horse, and the evening will include drinks, canapes, and a short talk on Chirk Castle during the war.
