Staff and volunteers enjoy the Welcome Tour

Volunteering with the National Trust can contribute towards many different goals. We offer a range of experiences for groups and individuals for corporate days, work experience and long-term volunteering. If you have any questions about other ways to volunteer or would like more information about Group Volunteering, please email us.

Work experience

We offer work experience placements to people at different stages in their education and careers. We have placements in most of our teams throughout the year. Please email for more information.

Internships and full-time volunteer placements are a great way of trying out different roles, and taking the chance to work with, and learn from, our experts. We run a range of opportunities.

Corporate groups

Helping to maintain Clumber Park

Employer-supported volunteering (ESV) is for business and public sector employers wishing to make a difference. Groups tend to support conservation tasks. For more detail, please email us.

Working holidays

Working holidays are a great way to support the conservation of National Trust places. Here at Clumber, we offer around 12 holidays a year. Based with our rangers, collections and gardens teams and staying in our onsite Bunkhouse, you get the chance to see our work from a different perspective.
