Comer Woods Dudmaston Brim Pool Paul Westall

Parking is free for National Trust members. Please scan your membership card in the parking machine to receive your free ticket. Every time you scan your card, Dudmaston receives a member credit which helps us to look after this special place for everyone to enjoy.

Please note: There is a £9 all day parking charge for non-members at Comer Woods and a £6 all day car parking charge for non-members at Hampton Loade and Sawmill car parks.

All our car park machines are cashless. On arrival, please pay via card, scan your membership card or validate your parking via the JustPark app. We know that getting a phone signal here can be difficult, so please download JustPark via Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, ready for your next visit. Coffee shop
Takeaway food and drink are available from the Comer Woods Café. Outdoor seating is available, with some covered seating in Heath Barn.
Dogs allowed
Dogs are welcome in Comer Woods. Look out for signage which indicates on and off lead areas.

Toilets are available in Heath Meadow, close to the Café.

An off-road mobility vehicle (Tramper) is available at Comer Woods. To pre-book email dudmaston@nationaltrust.org.uk or call 01746 780866, 24 hours before your visit. Include your name, number, date and time of your visit. The PMV can only be used on the Morfe and Explorer Trails and the user will be provided with the PMV route map.
Seating available
Seating available on the terrace and inside Heath Barn. Benches are located at various points around the trails.

By road
Comer Woods, Dudmaston is on the side of the A442 between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster near Quatford. Parking: Our countryside car parks in Comer Woods (WV15 6QJ), Hampton Loade (WV15 6HD) and the Sawmill (WV15 6QW) are open every day, all year round except for Christmas Day. For the Sawmill car park, take the lane opposite the main entrance for Dudmaston Hall, pass The Holt and the car park will be on your right. Parking is free for National Trust members. Please scan your membership card at the machine (parking charges apply for non-members).
On foot
Follow the footpath from the Sawmill car park into Comer Woods. Please note there is no safe pedestrian access from Dudmaston Hall.
By bus
The 297 Arriva bus service runs every 2 hours (approximately) between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster. There are a number of bus stops along the A442 which are convenient for visiting the estate. There is no bus service on Sundays.

Car park machines upgrade at Dudmaston Estate

In August 2026, the car park payment machines at Comer Woods, Hampton Loade and Sawmill car parks were replaced, so visitors now have the ability to pay by card. ANPR cameras have been installed at Comer Woods car park. This means that this car park is monitored with image recording devices including ANPR cameras (automatic number plate recognition).

Comer Woods is a three pawprint rated place. Three pawprints shows the very best places you can visit for a day with your dog. You'll be able to take your dog to most areas, including indoors for a cup of tea and a treat. There'll be clearly signed dog zones and dog friendly experiences.
