Goods on display in The Stables shop

Enjoy browsing jams and chutneys made locally, as well as hand made soaps and socks made out of goat’s wool. Herefordshire is famous for its cider apples, why not take some cider home with you or some of the wonderful local beer? There are lots of things for the children too including medieval costumes, swords and games which they can play with on our lawns.
Plot to plate
We love using our own produce grown in our garden and when fruit and vegetables are picked our chef gets the first pick of the bunch.
We also use produce grown at The Weir, another National Trust garden which takes pride in growing fruit and vegetables.

Something for the kids

Tuck in to the delicious children's menu at the cafe
We have a great children’s menu full of exciting goodies, and we offer half portions for families too. For something different why not try one of our freshly prepared picnic bags which you can take out into the gardens and parkland. Or if you have come prepared with your own picnic remember we do hot and cold drinks to takeaway too.
