What's on?

We've got great events going on all through the year but Christmas is always extra special. We like to celebrate the traditional values of the festive season.

Celebrating Edwardian Christmas at Newton House

Our fantastic volunteers are working hard to dress Newton House for Christmas, as it would have been during the Edwardian period. We'll have handpicked greenery from the estate, traditional festivities and of course a huge Christmas tree at the bottom of the sweeping staircase.

All this is in preparation of our fabulous Edwardian Christmas Fayre on 29-30 November. Will you be joining us?

The days are getting darker and the weather is not so welcoming, so what better time to visit the National Trust' forth most haunted house? This winter take a look behind the scenes on a Hidden House tour or pick up an audio wand and let our portrait collection speak for themselves.

There' s lots of ghost stories surrounding this old house and many visitors claim to have seen paranormal activity in various areas and rooms. What will you see I wonder?
