Whether you've been for a walk over the downs or you've just come up to admire the view a warm welcome awaits you. Treat yourself to some local produce, homemade soup and cakes.

Hot off the press

Our aim for the shop is to cater for all types of customers. We're delighted that now we have a selection of dog walking and hiking products.

You can find a selection of dog leads, leaderballs and dog poop bags. We're hoping to get small portable dog bowls. For walkers we're now selling a range of walking boots, walking poles and fleeces.

If you're into nature and want to be more confident in identifying species of plants or insects then why not pick up one of our FSC Nature guides. These handy waterproof guides are full of pictures and descriptions.

Opening times

  • Our shop and cafe are open every day except 24 and 25 December
  • We're currently open 10am - 5pm (12 Mar - 30 Oct)
  • Autumn/Winter opening hours: 10am - 4pm (31 Oct - 11 Mar)
