Led by National Trust staff, join us for these sessions on the beach to observe and investigate the creatures that call the rockpools their home.
Marvel at amazing anemones, spot hermit crabs carrying their house on their back and find out fascinating facts about sea slugs! This family friendly session will look at how to rockpool safely and responsibly.

The basics
- Booking details
Call 01723 870138 to pre-book your place, then payment is taken on the day. Cash only.
- Suitability
for aged 6+, children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet opposite the Old Coastguard Station at The Dock in Robin Hood's Bay.
- What to bring and wear
Wellingtons or similar sturdy waterproof footwear. No sliders or flipflops. Appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather conditions on the day.
- Accessibility
Parking at pay-and-display car parks at the top of the village. No parking in the lower village. The beach is accessed via a steep downhill walk through the village then a cobbled ramp or steps. Uneven surfaces on the beach.

The cost of the event is £3.00 per child attending. Well behaved dogs on a lead can attend.
