Bolton Association was founded in 1986 and has an active membership drawn from Bolton, Bury and surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.

Membership is open to all National Trust (or affiliated Trust) members and volunteers.

What we do

Our objectives are to promote the Trust locally, raise funds in its support and enable members to derive more enjoyment from their membership.

In recent years we have contributed various sums in support of a wide range of projects at different North West National Trust properties.

Our programme of events includes meetings in the winter months with speakers on subjects of interest, lunches and other social events, coach trips to places of interest and short holidays in most years.

Our regular members enjoy these opportunities to meet with others sharing similar interests.
