Devastation from the fire at Clandon Park

Clandon Park appeal

As you may know, a fire broke out on 29 April at Clandon Park, our 18th-century mansion in Surrey. Everyone was evacuated from the building and there were no reported injuries.

The fire spread through the building and caused significant damage. Eighty firefighters tackled the blaze at its height and crews worked through the night to combat the fire which is now out.

Clandon Park was one of the country’s most complete examples of a Palladian mansion housing an important collection of 18th-century furniture, porcelain and textiles.

We have received many messages from our supporters and the public following the fire at Clandon Park. If you would like to make a donation to help us we would be very grateful. We can't say at this stage what the future holds but donations raised will help Clandon Park face its uncertain future.
