Joan Capel, Erddig bookshop volunteer:

In 1987 I volunteered at Erddig to keep my retirement active and I've been repaid a hundredfold. My philosophy for life is that the woman who works and isn't bored is never old. I intend to repay Erddig by spending my centenary in 2018 still serving it.
