For the best rates, pre-book your Visitor Experience tickets online in advance of your visit. The early and late slots each day are usually quieter so for the summer months, Visitor Experience tickets are available at a special rate between 9am - 11am; 3pm - 5pm each day.

Pre-booking helps us prepare for your arrival and to spread visitor numbers more evenly throughout the day, improving everyone's experience.

Pre-book your visit to save and help reduce congestion around the World Heritage Site over the summer months.

National Trust Members

Free for National Trust members, however, please note pre-booking is recommended for everyone, including members. Simply choose member ticket(s) and enter your membership number when making your booking.

Visitor Experience ticket price includes reserved on-site parking, guided tours with our award-winning storytelling team, use of hand-held audio guides, access to the Visitor Centre's exhibition and interpretation area, the shop, cafe and use of all facilities.

All groups arriving in coaches and mini coaches must be pre-booked with the Giant’s Causeway booking office by emailing northcoastbookings@nationaltrust.org.uk

Car park
On-site car park reserved for members and Visitor Experience ticket holders. Car park at Innisfree Farm, 60 Causeway Road, is available for parking at £15 per car for walkers to access the network of coastal paths.
Dogs allowed
Dogs on leads welcome in all areas of the Visitor Centre and across the World Heritage Site. Dogs on leads also welcome on guided tours.
Guided tour
Hourly guided tours available with our award-winning storytelling team as part of the Visitor Experience. Join the next guided tour from within the Visitor Centre.
Shop
Large shop, showcasing handmade craft and souvenirs, with over 80% made by local crafters, available to browse as part of the Visitor Experience.
Toilet
Toilet facilities and Changing Places available within the Visitor Centre as part of the Visitor Experience. Exterior toilets available at the side of the Causeway Hotel for non-ticket holders.
Visitor Centre and Green Trail fully accessible. Changing places facility. Dog friendly inside and out. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters available for loan at no additional charge to members and Visitor Experience ticket holders.

By road
The Giant's Causeway and Visitor Centre is located on the B147 Causeway road. It is 2 miles from Bushmills village, 11 miles from Coleraine and 13 miles from Ballycastle. Parking in the vicinity of the Giant's Causeway is limited. The main car park, adjacent to the Visitor Centre, is reserved for members and Visitor Experience ticket holders. Everyone wishing to use this car park is advised to pre-book online to avoid disappointment.
Parking: The Causeway Coast Way Car Park is available at 60 Causeway Road for the use of visitors wishing to walk the network of trails and parking there is available for £15 per car. Park and Ride allows you to park your car in Dundarave Car Park in Bushmills and take one of Translink's local bus services to and from the Giant's Causeway. Go to the Tourist Information Centre in Bushmills to get this 'Green Ticket' saving with Visitor Experience tickets reduced to £12 per adult and £6 per child.

On foot
If you prefer to go by foot the Causeway Coast Way is a breathtaking 33-mile stretch of Ireland's most celebrated coastline. This route links to the Giant's Causeway trail network.
By train
Regular train services operate from Belfast or Londonderry to Coleraine, then change to bus connection Ulsterbus Service 172. Northern Ireland Railways information
By bus
Regular bus services available, some are seasonal. Ulsterbus Service 172; Goldliner Service 221; Causeway Rambler Service 402; Open Top Causeway Coast Service 177; Antrim Coaster Service 252. To avail of Green Ticket savings, park in Bushmills and use Park and Ride on Service 402. Plan your journey at: https://www.translink.co.uk/
Cycling
Route 93 of the National Cycle Network in Northern Ireland runs round the coast from Newry to Ballycastle via Bangor and Belfast.

Group/Coach arrivals
All groups arriving in coaches and mini coaches must be pre-booked with the Giant’s Causeway booking office by emailing northcoastbookings@nationaltrust.org.uk Online bookings are only for visitors that are arriving in a vehicle that can park in a standard car park space. There are very limited spaces available for larger vehicles such as large campervans and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
