The Causeway Hotel is undergoing refurbishment and is due to open to the public on Monday 26 March 2012 - with newly decorated bedrooms, bar and restaurant. 'This work will allow us to really improve the offer provided at the Causeway Hotel for hotel residents and visitors to the Causeway alike,' said Esther Dobbin, National Trust project manager. 'The refurbished hotel will be complementary to the new visitor facility when it opens to the public this summer.'

For souvenirs, snacks and ice-cream visit McConaghy's. Tommy McConaghy has a family-run business which has been operating on the Giant's Causeway since his father opened a shop by the stones in 1947.

Eat at The Nook
