Our campsites & bothies

  • Low Wray sits on the quiet western shore of Windermere with access for non-powered boating activities. Open until 4 November 2012.
  • Wasdale in the remote western valleys close to Wastwater, England's deepest lake, and Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain. Open all year for campers with tents and campervans.
  • Great Langdale in the heart of the Lake District mountains, ideal location for fell-walking and climbing. Open all year for campers with tents and campervans.
  • Hoathwaite close to the shore of beautiful Coniston Water. Open to campers and caravanners. Now open until 4 November.
  • Holme Wood bothy provides a basic camping shelter on the shore of Loweswater. Bring all your camping equipment, except for your tent.

Jubilee weekend
Please note that all our pre-bookable pitches are now full except for those at Hoathwaite campsite.

Bothy availability
Holme Wood bothy is fully booked from 2 June to 8 July and almost every weekend to the start of September. Plenty of mid-week availability outside of the school holidays.
