Milling times

Clyston Mill is still a working mill, and the kitchen staff at Killerton use its flour in some of their baking.

Come and see the wheat being ground to make flour and buy some for yourself.

Every Sunday afternoon (the mill is open to visitors 12-5pm), and some other afternoons. Please call 01392 462425 for details.

Cycle track

Get on your bike and try the new cycle track from Killerton to Broadclyst, arriving at Clyston Mill. This quiet route takes you along tracks and through farmland. Enjoy a countryside experience on this gentle trail.

Family activities

Have fun in the orchard

  • Children's trail
  • See where the mill boy lived
  • Run around and picnic in the orchard
  • See where the bats roost

Wildlife detectives

Try and spot one of these rare creatures.

Look out for wildlife at Clyston, from birds on the feeders to ducks on the pond. Climb up to the higher floors of the mill to find out more about the bats that roost in the roof.
