Discover Knightshayes, a gothic Victorian mansion set in the heart of the rolling mid Devon countryside.
There’s plenty to see from looming gargoyles, imaginative carvings including the ‘seven deadly sins’ and the medieval great hall complete with minstrel’s gallery.
Take a look around our exhibition dedicated to the extraordinary career of Joyce Wethered, the last family member to live at Knightshayes and the “greatest lady golfer of all time”.
Explore the Walled Garden, now restored to its former glory and used to grow organic produce for the stables restaurant and nearby town market. Watch the gardeners planting and harvesting fruit and vegetables or say hello to our free range chickens.
Stretch your legs and explore our famous grounds, ablaze with colour in the spring and autumn. From parkland walks, to the colourful formal terraces, elaborate topiary and woodland garden, there is something for everyone.
