Knightshayes at war exhibition

Sat 1 August - Sun 15 November
Learn about a hidden chapter in the history of Knightshayes as we bring you the story of the estate during the First World War, when the house was given over as a VAD hospital from 1915-1918. We'll be transforming our Stické Tennis Court, here at Knightshayes where wounded soldiers convalesced. A chance to learn the stories of men who came to Knightshayes for recuperation and tranquility at this peaceful sanctuary, away from the battlefront during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.
Free exhibition
