from Berwick-upon-Tweed Train Station, with connecting buses at Beal to and from Newcastle. Times vary with season and tides. Also private island minibus from Holy Island car park to castle

The Causeway

Getting to Holy Island is always an adventure.

To get here there is only one road which is covered twice a day by the North Sea. About 3 miles of road can be covered but coming by car is the easiest and most common way of crossing. There are other options though:
