Avoid the highstreet

Our shop is brimming with Christmas decorations, cards and ideas for presents. Why not pop along and pick up some lovely treats for the festive season and avoid the crowded high streets.

Don't forget, if you just need a greetings card or jar of jam then our shop is open at weekends until Sunday 21 December.

What's cooking?

Sticky toffee pudding at Little Moreton Hall

Sticky toffee pudding at Little Moreton Hall

In 2012, we opened the doors to our new visitor reception and gift shop in the car park and a new eating space in the hall, giving us a tea-room and pantry for visitors to choose from.

Choose from a range of scrummy home-made dishes such as cottage pie or sticky toffee pudding to warm you up as the cold weather approaches.

Who was Mrs Dale?

The Dale family outside the little tea-room

Our pantry is named after Mrs Dale, a tenant farmer.

The Dale family were tenants at the Hall from 1881 until the 1930s.

Thomas and his wife Ann along with their 13 children looked after the farm.
