What's new this year
Gondola will be calling at Monk Coniston jetty on certain days, enabling visitors easy access to the recently opened footpaths through the Monk Coniston Estate, linking Coniston Water to Tarn Hows. See website for details of guided walks combined with a cruise on Gondola
Charge inc. NT members. All sailings are weather permitting. No WC on board, nearest WC at Coniston Pier

Steam yacht Gondola sails from Coniston Pier daily, weather permitting. Last sailing at 4. The National Trust reserves the right to cancel sailings and special charters in the event of high winds. In the event of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, private charters or unforeseen operational difficulties, every reasonable effort will be made to inform the public. Piers at Coniston and Brantwood (not NT). Last admission 30mins before closing
Standard AdmissionRound trip: £6.50, child £3.30, family £16.30. Groups £5.20. Timetable on application and published locally. No reduction for NT members as Gondola is an enterprise and not held solely for preservation. Groups and private charters by prior arrangement; tel. in office hours. Discount vouchers available for Ruskin Museum and Brantwood House. Gondola passengers can disembark at Brantwood House
