Volunteer with us and be part of somewhere special

A dedicated team

Mottisfont has more than 300 volunteers. This band of men and women has one thing in common: they want to be part of our work in looking after this unique house, garden and estate. Enthusiasm and interest are the main requirements of the role. You don't need to know anything about Mottisfont when you apply to join, but you'll soon learn a great deal.

If you'd like to join the team, please get in contact by email or by calling 01794 341564.

House volunteers needed

From this autumn we will be opening up more of our house for people to discover life 'below stairs' here in 1930s.
This means we need even more house guides to help guide our visitors as well as be a friendly face to welcome them to our house and gallery.

If you are interested in joining our great team please contact us my email or phone 01794 341564.

Room and gallery guides

We've so much history to share with people. Join our house volunteer team and you can chat to visitors about all the interesting people who once lived here.

Outdoor volunteer guides

Love the great outdoors? Join our hardy team of outdoor guides? They set off on tours around the gardens and our historic duck walk, helping visitors spot the varied flora and fauna around the estate.

Countryside volunteers

If you're more active, then why not get stuck in with our countryside team and help keep the estate running smoothly? You can even make charcoal, which we sell here at Mottisfont.
