Quentin Blake & Friends
Join us this summer and set off on an epic imaginative story trail around the house and grounds, creating your own illustrated books as you go. On special event weekends in August, there are lots of additional hands-on activities, including story telling, special book making and helping to make the biggest picture book ever.
- Join us on Saturday 2 August as we learn how to make tree books with artist James Aldridge. Use the magnificent trees in our grounds to help you make a slightly different book to your trail book.
- On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August we will be working with artist Laura Joy as we create a giant book of illustrations inspired by the heroes on your trail.
- Saturday 20 and Sunday 31 August. Storytellers from the Roald Dahl Museum will be with us today getting us all involved in Roald Dahl’s 'Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts'. These story tellers are fun and lively so don’t miss them. Street to the Point theatre group are with us on Sunday. Keep an eye out as they re-magine characters through silly walks and over-exaggerated characteristics. See if you can do the same.
The Pantaloon's History of Britain
