George Piercy from Pickering, became a Wesleyan Missionary. He met his future wife here before going to China in 1850, where he spent over 30 years, and became a much respected figure

The Yorkshire Market returns to Nunnington Hall. There will be lots of stalls containing the unique and beguling craftsmanship that local traders have to offer   


There’s plenty to do both inside and outside. Learn about gardening, play games and make a wish by tying a ribbon on our wishing tree. We also have seasonal children's trails to keep all family members entertained.
