  • We’re looking for volunteer room guides, as well as other opportunities © Sally Renwick

    Volunteer opportunities

Packwood House wouldn't run without its volunteers. There are 220 volunteers presently and a wide range of things that you can do here, from catering assistants to welcome hosts. We hope that you will make new friends and enjoy helping us keep this well-loved house special for years to come.

To join in, get in touch today by e-mailing Mary McGrain at Packwood House.

  • Work placements

Alastair Clavey joined us for 5 weeks, on a full time student work placement. He worked in the shop, the office, and tried his hand at being a room guide as well as taking a trip in the cherry picker to take some ariel photographs of the house and gardens.

  • Work for the National Trust

There's something for everyone at the National Trust. No other organisation has quite such an extraordinary wealth and range of talent, expertise and insight.

Oliver Madams worked at Packwood firstly as a volunteer, then completed a careership and has recently become the countryside ranger for the three North Warwickshire properties.

  • Already a volunteer?

There is now a new online area for National Trust volunteers where you can get access to National Trust volunteer resources, create your online profile, hear news near you and read about what other volunteers are up to
