Rhododendron & Wild Garden Walk
Every Tuesday at 2pm from May 5th – June 9th head gardener Graham will lead a tour of the wild garden to see the colour provided by the flowering rhododendrons and azaleas alongside specimen trees from right across the world.
Discover how such a wide range of species came to be here, and which ones are flourishing this year.
£5 per person, book in at visitor centre on the day.
International Photographer of the Year Exhibition From June 26 – September 6 2015 we will be showing the winning images from the 2014 competition.
Their are 8 different categories including breathing spaces, beautiful gardens and wildlife in the garden so there should be something for everyone to enjoy. In total 32 images will be on display.
There is no charge for entry but please note this is a dog free area.
Better Plant and Garden Photography Workshop - Led by Philip Smith, professional photographer and founder of International Garden Photographer of the year, this workshop is open photographers of all of expertise and experience. You don’t need the latest expensive cameras – all levels are welcome.
Bumble Bee Workshop - A workshop for adults all about Bumblebees! We will cover the identification and conservation of these fascinating insects and how to encourage them in your garden. Includes classroom and field sessions. With local expert Dr Nick Owens.

Theatre in the Park
Two travelling theatre companies this year will be performing this year.
Pantaloons – this very popular company make their annual visit with Jane Austen’s ‘ Pride & Prejudice’. The literary classic gets the full Pantaloons treatment in this beautifully hilarious and delightfully innovative new adaptation.
Pentabus - The Lone Pine Club is a daring tale of adversity and adventure for children aged eight and up, adapted from the well-loved books by Malcolm Saville.

Parkrun is a free and friendly 5K run every Saturday at 9am.
A timed fun run offering an opportunity for all , male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy this beautiful park and get physically active into the bargain.
First timers please register to get your barcode to enable your time to be recorded. Free parking for runners until 10.30am and cafe open from 8.45am.
