A little slice of indulgence

Try a wood-fired pizza on our terrace

Try a wood-fired pizza on our terrace

Spring has finally sprung, which means that we’re getting ready to light the wood-fired pizza oven again. If the sun is shining we’ll be cooking pizzas, come and finish your day on the hill with a slice or two on our terrace.

Muddy paws welcome

Muddy boots and paws are always welcome at Sticklebarn

We love dogs at Sticklebarn and they certainly seem to love it here!

Romping around the countryside is thirsty work so we have water bowls for dogs and special doggy treats too.

All we ask is that you keep your dog on a lead and under control.

Try birdwatching

Our bird feeding station at Stickle Ghyll is hopping with activity, why not drop by and see how many birds you can spot.

There’s also plenty of wild birds to spot when you’re out and about.

Freewheeling

Want to get out on two wheels into the countryside but not sure if your legs will take you there?

Electric bikes are a great way of getting around the Lakes and apparently they even dismiss headwinds and flatten hills.

Try something new

Book yourself in for an adventure with Great Langdale campsite.

Get wet and have some serious fun on a gorge scrambling adventure, or have a go at rock climbing and discover why the climbing experts love it here.
