Whether you’re looking for a whole day of things to see and do, or simply need somewhere to stop off for lunch or afternoon tea, Tyntesfield has great ideas for every kind of group visit.

Our visitor centre

Once a model farm, this creatively restored building now houses our Cow Barn kitchen, gift shop and garden shop.
It was built for Antony Gibbs between 1881-3 and was a vital element of the self-supporting Tyntesfield estate. This area housed a dairy herd of 18 shorthorns and six Alderney cows, with space for two bulls, calves and pigs.
We continue the self-sufficiency today - many of the fruit and vegetables used in the kitchen come from our kitchen garden.
