Amazing stories to be told

May half-term is an ideal time to get outdoors as a family and experience some of nature’s wonders, from big seas to open skies. Join in with our fun events on the coast, in woodlands and in gardens and parks including the chance to complete some 50 Things before you’re 11 ¾ activities.

Get crafty

Stuck for things to do to keep the kids amused? Visit Stowe and create your own woolly lamb or chirpy chick to take home, or get messy making Tudor crafts. Great fun for all the family.

Spring garden events

Celebrate the arrival of spring by joining in our planting and sowing seed events for all the family. You’ll also be helping us to carry on looking after gardens and green spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Animal lovers

At our places you can find all sorts of animals. From cute and fluffy barn owlets, to hazel dormice with their huge black eyes. Follow our rangers advice on where to find them.
