Our favourite outdoor activities

Geocaching at Wicken Fen

Can you find the 5 geocaches we've hidden on the reserve? Hugely popular with visitors, download their co-ordinates or borrow a GPS receiver from the Visitor Centre.

Enjoy running? Then you'll love parkrun. A free, timed 5km run which takes place every Saturday in the amazing surroundings of Wimpole Estate.

Places to stay

Want to stay a little longer? The recently restored Wainman House in Wisbech is an elegant Georgian townhouse that sleeps 11 and makes the perfect base for large groups.

Coming soon

We've just started a major project to restore our Domestic Wing at Anglesey Abbey. Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, we can't wait to reveal 'life below stairs' to visitors during summer 2014.
