Channel 4's The Mill, Series 2
Earlier this year, Darlow Smithson Productions filmed The Mill, Series 2 at Quarry Bank. The new six-part series is inspired by our archives, real events and personalities. It focusses on the mill workers' lives between 1838 and 1842, a period of turbulent social, political and industrial change. The story is given added drama by the creation of events and characters that are entirely fictional.
