Places to stay
This National Trust holiday cottage is part of the charming Old Mill house and adjoining café. Perfectly situated, the cottage is right on the edge of Wembury Beach, with steps leading straight down to the sand. You would be hard pressed to find a cottage closer to the sea and it is as exciting to be here in the storms of winter as it is in the long glorious days of summer. With breathtaking views of the sea and the Mewstone from nearly every room in this beautiful old cottage, you can hear the calming sound of the waves on the shore as you go to bed at night.
Worswell Barton Farm is a working National Trust farm hidden on the mouth of the tranquil river Yealm and about a mile from the beautiful villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers. The farmhouse is a listed property, is mentioned in the Domesday book and has a long history with the Revelstoke Estate. With its enclosed beams, stone walls, and historic character, this is a wonderful place to stay, only a five-to-ten-minute walk from the South West Coast Path.
Bebd and breakfast and self-catering accommodation are available.
