Enjoy a relaxing trip down the sheltered River Yealm past the quaint villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers towards the sea. From Wembury Bay you can sail around the magnificent Mewstone and Wembury Point towards Plymouth Sound.
Enjoy a bracing dip at Wembury Beach with wonderful views of the impressive Mewstone. Please note that there is no lifeguard stationed at Wembury.
With its diverse marine environment there is plenty to see beneath the waves at Wembury, including dolphins, basking sharks and porpoises.
Plan your time at Wembury by checking the tide times in advance. Please note that all tide times are predictions.
One of the best places in the country for a spot of rock pooling, the rock pools here are teeming with life such as limpets, sea anemones, crabs and starfish. You can see a whole world encapsulated in one small pool. Why not take part in an organised rock pool ramble, run on a regular basis by the National Trust and the Marine Centre?
